As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, KIDMERRY, a custom wooden toy manufacturer based in Yunhe, Zhejiang, has distributed holiday gift packages to every member of its team — including production line workers, warehousing and logistics staff, and administrative colleagues — as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, the night the moon is believed to be at its fullest. It is one of China's most cherished traditional holidays, centered on family reunion and giving thanks.
In the warehouse, a team of volunteers finished counting and staging the supplies ahead of time. Cartons of milk and bright red gift bags were arranged in neat rows, ready for distribution. At the reception hall, colleagues lined up to collect their gifts, and more than a few opened the mooncake boxes on the spot to share a first taste of the festival.
Supervisors from the workshop and warehousing departments collected the packages on behalf of their teams, and will hand them out personally to every colleague on shift.
